Get ready to explore the creepy, crawly, and often misunderstood side of Nature as Teacher!During this hands-on hike, participants will search the forest floor, trees, logs, and trails for spiders, insects, and other fascinating creatures that are easy to overlook. We will investigate how these important organisms play essential roles in the ecosystem as predators, pollinators, decomposers, and food for other wildlife. Along the way, we'll uncover webs, search under logs, and investigate insect homes.Come prepared to get curious, a little dirty, and maybe a little creeped out! What We'll Discover - Spiders and their amazing webs - Insects and other arthropods - Decomposers living in the soil and leaf litter.

Registration & Guardian Policy All participants must be registered prior to attending the program. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is responsible for their supervision during the program.
