Course Outcomes:

• Assess and manage medical emergencies in the wilderness, using advanced techniques for injury evaluation and patient stabilization in remote environments.
• Provide extended patient care, including monitoring, treating, and managing injuries or illnesses when evacuation is delayed for hours or days.
• Respond effectively to environmental hazards, such as extreme weather, altitude sickness, and environmental injuries, with preventative and treatment strategies.
