Summer of Strategy: Chess Camp

Designed to introduce youth to chess strategy and tactics while having fun. Chess coaches from the Kansas City Chess Club will show beginners through advanced students how to improve their play. Activities will include casual play, chess lessons and training exercises, National Rated competition games, building Lego chess sets and chess boards, Bughouse and Fischer Random Chess. Each student will receive a chess set, chess workbook and a chess medal. All levels are welcome! Please send your child with a sack lunch, refillable water bottle, and a peanut-free snack for class break.
