Description of class: This course will address the goals of tactical combat casualty care, explain the acronym W-MARCH, identify techniques to open an airway, how to decide the appropriate tactical emergency casualty care, and demonstrate the proper deployment of pressure dressing, tourniquets, occlusive dressings and nasal airways. In addition, thainees will learn the use of Naloxone for opioid overdose, learn the signs of opioid overdose and will do hands-on training with nasal aerosol Naloxone delivery in emergency situations.
