Course description:This one-day course is an introduction to protecting employees from infectious deseases in the workplace. Course topics include the definition of infectious disease, modes of transmission, specific types of infectious diseases, OSHA standards, and other industry requirements. Additinally, training will cover worker exposure classification, recordkeeping, and basic control measures highlighting types of infectious dieases and OSHA standards.

Course material: This class has course materials that will be sent via email to students prior to the start of class. It is not required that students print them out, however if you desire to print them off please give yourself enough time prior to the start of class to do so.
